NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A golden yellow background. The entire image is made of flat, simplified shapes, like paper cut-outs. The haiku is placed central in the top third of the image. The words appear in black Comic Sans MS Regular. Below this, a white seagull perches on a purple couch, sitting in front of a grey tv with 2 antennae on the left side. A deep green floor is visible, though mostly covered by the couch and TV in the foreground. The seagull is sporting a brown beard and matching, semi-long hair. A yellow halo glows behind its head.
