The Mood I Hate the Best

The flawed in me I do detest
The oddest sense, brings on neglect
Mental lows, creations wrecked
Some say based on others best
A mood that warns, still often missed
Gone unseen, when well suppressed
So differed it’s from all the rest
A mood based sole in loneliness
Sleepless nights to one’s behest
A mood shout out in hollowness
Solemn is what all professed
For so it takes your shadow’s friend
I truly fear this mood depressed

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

I dedicate this to all that have ever had a bout or are having a tough time with depression. And to Robin Williams who brought a smile to so many faces. I miss my Mork from Ork!  Na nu Na nu!
