The Piper

The Piper

written by: Courtney Glover

It’s time to pay the Piper, my dear
For all the wrongs you’ve wrought
It’s time that karma punished you
For all the hurt you’ve knowingly sought

Karma will have its pound of flesh
For the pain you’ve willfully caused
It’s time to pay the Piper, my dear
You’d make even the devil himself give pause

It’s time to face the music, my dear
And to bow to fate for all of your misdeeds
The Piper has come to collect what’s due
With his scythe in hand, and you the weeds
