The Void
written by: Doug Bartlett
Her name was Gypsy. She was a nice country girl, smothered in tattoos.
She found herself living in a sleeping village called Solitude.
In this life, she had not accumulated many years but did have several miles on her from this hard road people have called life.
Her life felt like a ball of fluff with no real substance.
Some people called her paranoid as thoughts of death seemed to always linger nearby. She was consumed with thoughts of Heaven and Hell. She always felt the pressure of a large hand of doom lurking overhead.
But she told herself she would never give in to this tremendous pressure she felt. No, she told herself that she would never die young.
She knew in order to improve her lifestyle, changes would have to be made.
She once looked for salvation from this quandary she found herself in by looking to religion. This resulted in her being arrested with the charge of disturbing the priest.
Perhaps she should look again, but this time approach God directly.
