This Chapter of My Heart

My heart…Forlorn,
Abandoned, on a shelf.
An old dusty book.
Never to be touched,
Never to be read,
Misunderstood!
My words… I scream them!
Yet, they never get heard.
Faded away…deep into the abyss.
Abandoned and alone,
Bewildered and estranged.
My words are still left unread,
Unheard…
Buried under a heap of dust,
This chapter…with my pages torn apart,
I now close, with my guarded heart!
