Verses Composed to One Page from My Life-Book

written by: Koushik Gain

I have overcome to read
Two fourth parts of my Life-book
But one page that I kept behind
Always compels me to call up
On every page when I resolved
To start a new line of.

The page was in my life
When I was in my mother’s lap,
Full of extreme happiness,
Encircled with affection,
Lullaby that my Mom sang
Brought the sleep on my eye-lids.

It was written on my
Insignificant sportings, I frolicked
On the ground of Innocence,
No playmate with me
But my Mom was there and still.

The page is the pillar
Of my thoughts and
Remnant parts of my Life-book.
