Illustration description: Black & white art. Left side: a black cat stares out a window, watching a little black bird. Shapes of more birds in the sky visible through the window, as curtains wave gently. Right side foreground: Plate of syrupy pancakes on a table. This is watched by a white cat peeking past table’s edge. Haiku wafts from pancakes to window in black Caflisch Script.
