What Looked Like a Butterfly

What looked like a butterfly,
turned out to be a bug!
Digging its nails to my soul,
while I try to scratch them off.
Blood and puss spilled all over the floor,
I itch and rub till my hands are soar.
Peeling my skin away I try to rinse every spot,
every memory off because
what looked like a butterfly
Turned out to be a bug!
