The Bridesmaid’s Disappearing Act

The Bridesmaid’s Disappearing Act

written by: Susan Glamuzina

I looked around
she was gone

The sun was high
she had high tailed it

We were now an uneven group
“What happened?” I asked the bride

“Stupid cow,” she replied, holding it together.
“Thank goodness there is photoshop.”

The cow had been green through the planning
as if it was her special day.

She didn’t like what she wore
or where she stood in the service

I guess we will never know
what finally made her flee
