Pieces of Myself

Pieces of Myself

I will bury pieces of myself,
you will find them if you look.

I will be in the flower tribute at the side of the road,
or attached to a feather, suspended in a summer current.

I will be near a slowly revolving wheel,
I will be viewed through a narrow window.

I will know how it feels to breathe freedom,
like a bird from a cage, or a person in a summer meadow.
