Footsteps

Footsteps

written by: Sandy Rochelle

The nameless.
They lay on branches in a world
They have never known.
Just formed, they live from star to star.
Soundless creatures.
Not needing or wanting.
Species of undefined time.
Children of the air.
Molecules of silence.
Complete.
Self-propelled.
Formed by the planets
That revolve around the sun.
Folding their wings and saying grace.
Footsteps small and childlike.
Beings.
Souls.
Magicians.
Can you see them.
Can you feel them.
make of them what you will.
