Waiting

Waiting

written by: Ifeanyi Sibling

At a time when peace has become a rare gem
Sometimes tagged as an impossible dream,
In a world where man-made prejudiced laws are declared as the way of life.
We’ve seen wars and strife destroy things due to the same laws.

Somewhere else I see a future arising
–a generation ready to call on Atofiseogunran in time of storms,
For he has kept them abreast of the activities of the Kingdom waiting for them,
They are standing firm on a foundation older than creation itself
While fellowshiping in spirit with Ruhun Hikima.
I can rave more about this generation of the Princes and Princesses of Eze ndi Eze,
But I’m afraid I might run out of ink too soon.
