Luxury

Luxury

My extravagant pink wife is obsessed with pink anything. Most of her outfits are thoroughly pink; she wears soft pink lipstick; her nearly invisible bikini is pink. Two pink circles show through her top.

We’re in an unaffordable luxury resort, the Pink Playa, with huts over the sea. The faux straw pastel roofs are in assorted colors, but we had to have the pink one.

While I try to relax on my hammock with my crossword puzzle, my wife, Pinkie, lies on a pink hammock, unable to swim due to pink eye. Her pink float bobs languidly near her pink painted toes. She ordered a tropical drink, Pinka Colada, and is quietly reading her pink dust-jacketed book, Pink Panther, under her pink sun hat. I ordered a Pink Sunset — tequila with a splash of pink grapefruit.

My eye catches a naked, sexy server in a sheer pink cover-up approaching on our pink pier. Her flowing pits, brows, and all her hairs are pink. She brings Pinkie’s drink with a pink umbrella to my wife at the water’s edge.

Despite her whispering, I hear her suggest with a wink that Pinkie might be more comfortable in the air-conditioned, inside, pink-tiled pool. It also has a pink-tinted glass roof. Did she just pinkie swear?

As the day wears on, I count my blessings that we will soon be back in the pink and anticipate the colorful marmalade sunset on pink clouds.

Lifting my pink sunglasses, I stare at my wife and wonder in silence if she bleeds pink. I’ll soon find out after dusk. I finish my crossword with a smile. The last solution is PINK.
