Painted with mere words,
Brushstrokes of thought
On a palette of the absurd.
Sentences spattered color
Delightfully dripping down,
A canvas mirroring a gown,
Heavens I’ll look no further.
Of highlights and shadows,
Of phrases, my very marrow
Drains upon the drop cloth
In a river rush miles across.
