have a quilt sandwich

it’s the sound of breaking glass

That’s it….we’re doomed now

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A cartoon sandwich, seemingly made of a variety of colourful fabric pieces quilted together. The sandwich filling is, of course, loose pieces of fabric. The surface under the sandwich seems to be cracked and about to shatter. The words of the haiku hang in the air above the sandwich in black Segoe Script Regular font, giving the appearance of hastily written cursive. Created in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
