A Rainy Day Feeling

When the sky displays its show of light and music,
When heaven showers its blessings cleansing me from head to toe,
When the sound of rain enters my heart,
All of my senses awaken,
Craving you more and more!
I think of all the possibilities if you were here,
A cup of coffee to share,
A soft melody is on play,
My fingers are making shapes on your chest,
And my eyes are locked in yours,
While I listen to the stories from your lips of faraway lands!
A perfect time for being vulnerable with each other,
Opening up ourselves,
Sharing our secrets not to judge but to understand every little word in our books,
Making love soul to soul,
Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
Now that you are not here,
I dream of the day when I can feel you in my arms,
To love you with all of my heart,
And I’m sure forever will never be enough to live a life with you, my love!
