A Yearning For Justice

A Yearning For Justice

written by: Mohammed Arshad Amin

A thirsty survivor in a lousy place,
Like animals dwelling in a zone
Where there’s no aspiring hope,
To be an abnormal human.

Unable to inhale at my own home,
Like a vulnerable bird without a cage,
No one stares at my bleeding heart,
As if having no value and dignity.

Though I have my self-identity,
Like birds have their own feathers,
I have no peace, facing injustice,
But I keep seeking my proper rights.

Striving to reveal my inner adversities,
Showing that I have a yearning for justice.
