Ageing Gracefully or Not

Ageing Gracefully or Not

written by: Debra Sasak Ross

I abhor this ache.
This pain.
These maladies.
I do not like
These wretched lines on my face.
The discoloration of my skin.
Exhausted and nauseated
From various medications.
My best friend
A heating pad.
Limited activities.
Early bedtime and frequent naps.
What happened to my strength, endurance and flexibility?
What happened to my youth?
