All’s Fair in Poetry

Have you heard of poetic licence?
It’s a boon in the world of poetry —
The liberation conferred on poets.
The right that exists beyond logic,
the artefact adorned and the
freedom cherished.
From mumbling matters!
Singing a hymn;
This craft is crisply curated
to savour the desire,
of narratable experiences.
That also ties people together
for those thoughts exchanged.
Rants permitted,
Love permitted,
Agony permitted,
Euphoria permitted,
All woven and placed together into this
cascade.
Shared like a bouquet.
I am a postgraduate student pursuing an MSc in Bioinformatics. I began writing poems when I was in the 10th grade. I am from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
