An Unbreakable String

Made a million years ago,
When stars collided,
Beautifully connecting from one to another,
A string was born!
Getting stronger as it evolved,
The ends travelled far away,
Tangling and untangling,
Hoping to meet one day!
There was a strong pull,
But the push was too hard to ignore,
So it stretched at its best,
But never broke, a miracle they say!
Although, it is all knotted,
And ends are still trying to find their way,
The string remains unbreakable,
With love and patience at its core!
I'm a nurse by profession but I love to read and write. I only started writing poems about two years ago so that I can pen down my feelings and emotions. It's a way of expression of my thoughts.
