Arikewusola Abdul Awal hails from Shaki, Oyo state, Nigeria. He is currently an aspirant of UniAbuja where he wishes to study English and literary studies. He finds healing in poetry, and thus takes it as a path on which he walks. As an emerging poet, his poems have appeared on Ila Magazine, Willi Wash, Teen Lit journals, Literary Yard, Thirty Shades of Roses Anthology, Broken Chunks of Heart Anthology, and elsewhere. He is currently 20 years old, and he writes from his town (Shaki). When he is not writing, he is found reading or watching movies.
