Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Jennifer Kelly is a history buff with a decades-old MFA in Screenwriting from USC’s School of Cinema-Television. She has returned to writing fiction after a career in communications and grant writing for arts and education nonprofits, though she managed to weave in time as a lifeguard, film archivist, teacher, script reader, sports marketer, waitress, journalist, and think tank intern. Currently living in Fort Lauderdale, Jennifer is proud to have raised three wonderful boys who are all nearly launched.
