John Louis Cimasi was born into a farm family of eight in a small farming village in New York. He is an author, poet, and playwright. His company, Melic and Mime Theatrical Productions Inc., produced scores of shows for hundreds of performances at twelve theaters in New York and theaters across the United States. During his theatrical impresario tenure, he co-wrote four farcical music comedies with Tom Dudzick: Make Your Moves with Confidence; So's Your Old Man, You Must Pay the Rent, and The Monkey's Choice. His writing credits include sixteen books and eleven stage plays: Verses from a Life (12 Volumes), Lives Lived. Lives Lost., John Loves Deb, John Loves Deb (A Chinese Translation), The Richford Girls, Short Stories from a Life, and Vignettes from a Life. John served four years in the USAF Security Service (Military Intelligence) as a Chinese linguist. He and his wife, Deborah, live in Bradenton, Florida, where he writes and publishes prose, poetry, and stage plays.
