I am a small-time writer in retirement, living in a rural part of the central United States with my two troublemaker cats. I write short stories and a few flash fictions. My stories are posted on my own website. To date, I have 31 stories on my site. I also have a few stories on writing sites called Reedsy and Deadlines for Writers. I have entered a few writing contests but have not received any results yet. I try to write every day, at least something. I have not published any books, nor do I ever plan to. I write to keep myself busy, and I find it relaxing and fun. The ideas for stories are limitless. Every day, I see or read something that sparks a new story in my mind. Some I have run with, and others remain just notes. I don't try to limit myself to any one genre. Often, I combine genres, such as western and Sci-Fi.
