Mara Cheney is an Iowa native creatively expressing her way through grief after the loss of her infant son. She spends her days working with college students on their wellbeing, dancing it out with her daughter, and teaching yoga. In her spare time she takes long walks with her dog, mainlines books, and daydreams about tomato season.
