Betrayal

Betrayal

@whirred

With glow and grin, she transforms
her suitors from men to long-tongued
dogs, devoted and eager to please.

They do all things she hints at wanting.
She has become Circe, although
she never does cast the swine spell.

When she keeps company with others,
her loyal dogs of course overlook that.
She betrays with her whole heart.
Sincerity is not an absolute virtue.
