Bird of Many Colours

Bird of Many Colours

written by: Cornelia Smith Fick

first one
then many
sacred fleeting
flying in formation.
The wind shakes you,
your shape grows big/small
your colours turning, losing
the rainbow: red, white,
blue on the wooden
door dissipates
to white
light.
