Blue Heron

Blue Heron

written by: Charlie Bottle

Widespan ideas alight gracefully,
scarcely making a splash,
so as not to disturb reflections.

Shimmering, streaming, silently
arriving at nested thoughts,
to flesh out finished forms.

Strengthening, wings of thought
to take flight, fly long distances,
to whims of changing, climes, cases.

Inherent within its consciousness,
live ideas, thoughts, likelihoods,
waiting to take flights to great heights.

Alighting, gracefully on marshes,
to give birth to inspiration,
among, migrating flocks,
of red, white, and blue dreamers.
