NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: White background. The foreground is occupied by a round, green table, placed somewhat to the left side of the image. Two figures sit on either side, looking listless, heads propped on one hand while the others hold red cups of (presumably) coffee. The left-hand figure has shoulder-length, curly, black hair and wears a white long-sleeve shirt with red horizontal stripes. The figure on the right is shorn bald, wearing a white sweater with green dots. In the background, a figure madly dashes to the right side of the image, seemingly trailing Christmas ornaments, lights, and other Christmas paraphernalia. This figure wears a red Santa hat, red long-sleeve top, and presumably green pants, though they are but a running swirl in the style of cartoons. This figure’s expression, in contrast to those of the other two, is wide-eyed, open-mouthed, and seemingly quite panicked. Arms waving up and down complete the picture. Above it all, the haiku sits centremost in black Brush Script Std Medium font.
