NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: An image of a roughly drawn computer monitor. The shape of the monitor frame and stand is lined with what looks like pale yellow TV snow, tinged with red where it touches the black of the monitor. The screen is dark, though slightly lighter than the monitor, and the haiku is displayed here in off-white System Bold font. A yellow-white, circular glow surrounds the monitor, emphasised by a white, bevelled, hand-drawn circle with lines radiating toward the monitor, some seeming to break in and onto the screen as flat, white lines. The whole thing is surrounded by profound darkness.
