Dance With Me

I see you dancing on a boat with me
as the gentle waves rock our embrace,
watching you spin around, letting the good come out
allowing yourself to be free without a doubt.
Standing here waiting with the light on
waiting for you to come to me,
you have been here before, I have looked in your eyes
open your heart and allow yourself to be free.
A dream to see your dancing footprints
on a frozen memory of happiness
as you melt my presence
with the heat of your smile.

I see you dancing on a boat with me
twirling with the applause of the moon’s gaze
watching you fall into my arms, letting the good come out,
take that leap and see what it is all about.
