In the night, I wrestle
With my demons.
In the day, I conceal them
In a smile.
I embrace bitterness
And hide ugliness.
Like a dissembler, I act.
Though deep inside,
I wrestle
Twenty thousand and three
Villains.
I hope you don’t become
The twenty thousand and fourth.
