Dry Desert

Dry Desert

written by: Inam Ullah

The flower of my love,
Never bloomed in her heart
I watered it so much,
With blood of my own
Even God did not accept,
My prayers and my cries

And now sitting alone,
I think about all these
I find guilt in myself
If I have loved her,
For her beauty and her charms,
Then why should I expect,
The same feelings from her
For my love is a dry desert,
Even tries her best,
She cannot quench my thirst.
