Empty Thoughts

written by: Doug Bartlett

Here I sit at my desk looking forlornly into my computer’s monitor. The blinking demon located in the upper left quadrant of the screen is staring back at me, taunting me, as if mocking my very existence. Try as I might, I can’t come up with a thought to transfer to my fingers that rest on the keyboard.

I would do just about anything to replace that dreaded image with a paragraph, even a sentence. No, who am I kidding, at this point I would settle for just one word. Anything to move that dreaded cursor.
