Fall To Me

Fall To Me

written by: Clay Miller

You know loving you was so easy from the start
No one else could ever please my cautious heart
You were what I’m not – confident and strong
I thought we had more time, I was wrong
No goodbye, no grand party, no loud twister
Into the light you went without even a whisper
I still haven’t gotten over letting you go
I thought I knew pain, no I didn’t know

For a moment, just one moment
I wish you could
Fall to me
Fall to me

I wish you would
Fall to me
Fall to me

You could make anything funny
I miss laughing with you, honey
Hey, have you and Jesus met?
Have you made God laugh yet?
Until I get to where you are
Maybe we can meet on a star

For a moment, just one moment
I wish you could
Fall to me
Fall to me

For a moment, just one moment
I wish you would
Fall to me
Fall to me

There you are, as I remember
My everything, my forever
I thought I couldn’t take the grief any longer
But visiting with you, I am now stronger
When I hear your voice in the wind
I can smile and laugh again
Because

For a moment, one great moment
You did
Fall to me
Fall to me

I long for the moment, the next moment
When you will
Fall to me
Fall to me
