Filet Mignon

Margot stepped into Filet Mignon, the tang of blood and iron wrapping around her senses like a velvet noose.

“Fresh today,” he said.

Darius nudged a tenderloin across the counter, his fingers brushing hers. It was electric, like the chill of steel against bare skin, a shock that left her momentarily breathless.

“I like it tender,” she said.

“Tenderness is good. But some cuts… need a little more force.”

The words coiled in the air as his knife slid along a ribeye, its flesh quivering beneath the blade. A warmth blushed between her thighs as she admired the marbled fat, its juices pooling, glistening like sweat.

“I’ve got a special for you,” he said.

Blood pounded in her temples as he led her into the back room, her breath quickening from the carnal anticipation of being taken.

Darius drew close, his lips grazing her neck slowly, teasing…

Margot knowingly embraced that this craving wasn’t just for the meat or for Darius alone—it was something darker, a hunger she had denied for too long.

As the boning knife sliced through the flesh in Filet Mignon, Margot became part of the feast, consumed in a way she hadn’t allowed herself in decades.
