Fine Line

Fine Line

written by: Radha Khambati

The line
slim slender
delicate
Easy to trip
And fall
It’s imaginary
And strong
Sometimes
You want to
Obliterate
For some fun
It encircles you
Almost chokes
you dare not
cross the line
The Sita who
got swayed
Paid heavily
With her life
The innocuous line
Don’t dare to offend
It’s your nooze
Around the neck
Let the
delicate balance be
Dangerous
As you see
For life
is all about
How you
draw the line
It’s fine
