In the depth of my mind I take out a book each page evokes a memory
no shelves to hold them; suspended in time.
Some are old and some quite new I reach in and look whenever I choose.
I see chapter and verse, the drama and the comedy
the horror and the majesty.
The love that runs throughout each title
A constant reminder of why
I choose life.
