Heavens Skin

Heavens Skin

written by: Beth Tremaglio

@TremaglioBeth

I stood by the water watched the moon roll
across the boundaries ledge,

hang herself from the wisdom of nature’s
lips,
my flesh immersed

my breath lost
to the cries
seeping through the cracks of heavens skin.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

When the heavens cry,
nature speaks
blanketing the flesh
