Hidden Within

I have this alter ego
a celestial being of
sorts with a want to
be set free to explore
the farthest reaches of
our universe yet seen
there’s no telling what
he would do once freed
with an intellectuality
unmatched or unseen
I’m afraid his wit might go
to exceptional extremes
such a thing to be freed
from nothingness to the
opposite of polarities, a
certainty of everything
if held within explaining
this world’s not for him
would he take it upon
himself to escape the
vessel imploding me
out of existence to seek
that which we all task
unforeseen immortality
I'm a poet, writer and lyricist. Sometimes my styles cross.
