Holiday Countdown

During the countdown to the holidays
I love to put on Christmas movies
The togetherness brings me joy
From kids movies to romance stories
During the countdown to the holidays
I love receiving chocolates and candies
Whenever I attend work parties
The meals and treats come in handy
During the countdown to the holidays
We usually put up a Christmas tree
Containing precious ornaments
With rainbow lights shining endlessly
During the countdown to holidays
We unite with each other’s presence
Spending time with extended family
Before the day we finally open presents
