How to Be a Butterfly

How to Be a Butterfly

written by: Elena Francesca

Gliding along the signal
I am not in a hurry but yet there’s an urgency
The wind begs me to continue
The birds alert my senses
Do I meander or land on that soft blade
Or continue the journey
My essence buzzing
The light in my peripheral moving in a slant
There’s a wave coming
Does it push me along in gentleness
Or is it harsh and sending an advisory pulse
I feel the heat along the outer edges
I am not sure of the size of my inhabited body
In my soul it is intertwined among the earth
Threads woven into a frequency I do not comprehend
Yet I have written the frequency
It’s calling to me
What is it though?
Something inside my soul knows it is eternal
I have been here. I create the sound yet never utter a word
I know the beauty that was at first but darkness
Now the brilliance stimulates my senses
Not in anxiety but with an awe of complexity
My world is everywhere
But how far is its very existence?
