I C U (Right?)

I C U (Right?)

written by: TeaBee

Your voice it haunts me
As they walk around
And I feel numb
I hear nothing
but your calls
and our love
No question
Can’t answer
I just see us
As they panic
and I convulse
losing pulse
Then the jab to my chest
Electrical shocks to my head
wires splayed into many different directions
I’m stuck in an empty chamber
trapped beyond any reality
lost in all of these senses as I can’t comprehend them
I feel eternal bliss
I see it slow down
Time has stopped
I feel okay inside
the beeping flow
in a metronome
before I go home
in a flat line……..
I loved you today
I missed you tonight
I remind myself
this isn’t farewell
just a pause
until I wake up
right?
