Innocuous Cries

Innocuous Cries

written by: Cindy Coverly

An inglorious end to a sorry tale,
Innocuous cries…
Words untold, misinterpreted perhaps…
In her head, where she lived, alone and misunderstood,
She regained her strength to breathe in her courage and find her peace.
In His presence, she fell to the ground.
Forgive me, I don’t know why, but I keep running away.
In the physical and in her mind, she finds the solace she seeks.
In the presence of her Father,
She sleeps.
