My Beautiful One

My Beautiful One

written by: Ifeanyi Sibling

Her hands ran across my body
Every brush of her fingers performing wonders on my naive body
My eyes were closed as she narrated stories from her past,
Some beautiful, most were ugly.
Sadness engulfed me upon hearing the events of the latter,
Gently she used her left thumb to wipe a tear that had escaped from my eyes.

I lay there naked with my head resting on her lap comfortably,
Thoughts of making things better for her ran through my space
I vowed to never let her go,
Her support system; my goal in life
