Nothing When in Doubt Do

Nothing When in Doubt Do

written by: Anna Bivens

rounder belly grows, weigh heavy, though much less nothing eat,
contortion pear-shaped human flesh transformation age old, old age
wander, wonder, malign-divine
immaculate conception could this be, be this
as with me my mother was, RIP her scattered mind
crazy old bat like me was she, unknowing
I shiver, stutter, shout in fear,
feel I kick and flutter, spin and press of phantom child
birthing, berthing, fish in water from me out come?
no but, no but, no, now nothing goes,
womb empty mine that never was a home
now fearful I, dreadful I,
what on me grows, this frightful mass
call to doctor rush to make,
away this take, erase, whole be again
be as I once was, once am, now
pain heavy, heart heavy, too late do nothing I
eat alive myself, the doctor say
cells good dying, bad cells killing
cry I, dying
dying I
