People Are Talking

Bob lives in a double-wide mobile home. Margaret has her own house. Margaret has been over to Bob’s quite a lot, and vice versa. They’ve been seen in restaurants, movie theaters, and even golfing. They sit close together in church, often holding hands. Bob spent the night at Margaret’s house a few times. People are talking. Some think it’s terrible. Bob and Margaret’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren think it’s wonderful. You see, Bob is eighty-six and Margaret is eighty-four. May we all live to do something scandalous when we’re eighty-something!
I live in Amherst, Ohio. I have been published in "Good Old Days" magazine. Also in "Cynic On Line" magazine, and The Chronicle Telegram Accent page. I am a founding member of the Oberlin Writers' Group. I enjoy riding horses and gardening.
