Romance at The Tar Pits

written by: Stark Hunter

meat girls carouse at bob’s big boy
slender freddie and billy blue eyes
mangle two quivering beef burgers
their two chicks norma and wanda
apply mascara and blue eye shadow
inside a restroom of lipstick mirrors
outside they hear a brenda lee song
splashing the tables with violin rain
lassoing in meat boys with apologies
freddie says his big boy tastes good
billy blue eyes says he wants wanda
says he wants to park at the tar pits
maybe fall in love with wanda again
slender freddie says he can dig that
says he wishes norma would put out
the music’s never right he grumbles
now the meat girls walk by the table
freddie follows them with lusty eyes
he says the one on the left is bitchen
says she has the walk of a dream girl
she puts out man check out her legs
billy blue eyes squints now and sighs
gee man wish our two chicks put out
norma and wanda return to the table
flashing lipstick and blue eye shadow
slender freddie whistles at the chicks
let’s head over to the tar pits he says
oh that’s so romantic wanda whispers
we can park there and listen to music
maybe we can get donuts says norma
