See the Hope

the world is a corpse
and we are just an
infestation
eating away at the flesh
after we facilitated
its death
Aren’t we all to blame for hate
But
there is goodness,
I tell my girls. there is
goodness still in this world.
How do you know?
Because I look at you
and all I see is Hope
