Illustration description: A clouded iridescent background in mother-of-pearl colours. The lines of the haiku are scattered about the image in white Caflisch Script Pro Bold font. There is an abstracted figure bottom and center, seeming to sit in a cross-legged meditation pose. They are made of flowing, curving, curling lines reminiscent of smoke. Their face is nothing but a counterclockwise spiral.
I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
